Coach DevonFitness Coach"I started my fitness journey in the 8th grade, when I started playing football and trying to be healthier overall. I was that shy, heavy-set kid that hid behind a book and played video games instead of going outdoors. I was a little active, playing rec league baseball as a kid and going on camping trips in boyscouts, but that was about it.
It was during my 8th grade year that I was trained by Shane, and as much as I hurt after each session, my love for the fitness world grew. I would continue on to play football through high-school and my first two years of college (D3), along with participating in track and field (throwing events) my junior and senior year in high-school, along with 5 years of collegiate experience at the D3 and D2 levels. I have my bachelors degree in exercise sports science, and am working on getting my NASM certification in personal training and nutrition. I love to coach and see everyone achieve and even surpass their goals, as well as overcoming fears, both physical and mental! |
